Description: Prebriefing refers to the activities PRIOR to the start of the simulation including the preparation and briefing aspects of the simulation-based experience. The updated standard outlines the need for deliberate preparatory materials given prior to the simulation-based experience (SBE) aimed at supporting learners in the simulation. Participants will be informed of updates to the standard and be able to apply the information in their practice to ensure alignment with best practice guidelines.
