  • Simulation Design
  • Simulation-Enhanced Interprofessional Education
  • Professional Development
  • Operations
  • Outcomes and Objectives
  • Evaluation of Learning and Performance
Upon completion of the Advanced Standards of Best Practice, the learner will be able to:

Examine the criteria and required elements of each of the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice® within their own setting. These areas may include health and social care providers for example a hospital or community setting - Hospice and in a further or higher education institution that supports apprenticeship, undergraduate and post graduate medical, nursing, midwifery and allied healthcare and social care programs.

By integrating these Advanced Standards that contain examples of activities in a variety of settings, this will aide learners to undertake a needs analysis in their setting, analyze their practices, and identify areas of excellence and areas of development. The Advanced Standards of Best Practice provides a range of resources to assist with the creation of a development plan that can implement evidence-based simulation.
